Flexible & Mobile 18th Century Living History

Whether you are planning an all-day on-campus Colonial America or Revolutionary War field trip or looking for a compelling feature for a regional festival, Historical Perspectives offers fully equipped, mobile living history programming tailored to your venue no matter if you are a public, private, charter, or parochial school, homeschool co-op, museum, historic site, or organization.

Our offerings are structured into three flexible service models designed to fit any space, schedule, or audience size:

  1. Hands-On Activities: Fully interactive, tactile learning stations where participants actively craft period items or engage in historical skills (e.g., quill writing, candle dipping, tin punching, etc.). Most activity includes a physical takeaway or active skill.
  2. Historical Presentations: Engaging, talk-based educational sessions incorporating primary source reproduction props, handling collection artifacts, and interactive discussion focused on specific early American themes and historical topics.
  3. Demonstrations: Dynamic, visual display station featuring period skills, tactical drills, or music—including black powder musket and artillery drill, fife music, among others.

Contacted Interpretive Services

If you are a park, RV resort, campground, or similar organization and you are interested in providing programming for your patrons we offer contract interpretive services covering the general history and environment based on your area. Programs can include history/nature hikes, fireside presentations, junior ranger style activities, or something custom for your patrons.
