At Historical Perspectives, we believe pricing should be straightforward. Our rate structure is built around per-student activity costs and regional travel zones so teachers and bookkeepers know exactly what to expect with zero hidden fees.
School Program Base Rates
Our program fees are calculated on a simple per-student or flat-rate basis.

Headcount Policy: You are billed only for participating students who are present on event day. Teachers, classroom aides, and parent chaperones participate 100% FREE.
Additional Activity Fee
The standard facilitated colonial day comes with either five activates OR whatever number of class you have if more than five. For schools with less than five classes, you still receive five stations. Moreover, schools with five or less classes may pay for a sixth and seventh activity. The fee is $2.50 per student per activity. For example, if your base price is $5.00 per student (and you have less than six classes) then with the sixth activity your price is $7.50 and $10.00 with the seventh activity (given you have less than seven classes.
Regional Travel & Lodging Zones
To cover vehicle mileage, equipment transport, road time wages, and lodging, travel fees are assessed as a per-student addition based on your school’s geographic zone.
Deposit & Minimums
To secure your date, a deposit is required, and 100% is credited to your final invoice. Your deposit is not an added fee. The full deposit amount ($100 or $350) is subtracted directly from your final invoice total on event day. The deposit is only requested once a date is finalized. Moreover, for smaller schools the deposit acts as a minimum e.g. if the cost of your event is less than the deposit, then the deposit becomes the total amount for the event.
